Blue Catapult Has Fun, Successful Launch Event

On Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at The Blue Room in Washington, DC, music, snacks, libations and optimism marked the Launch Party for Blue Catapult PAC. Determined Democrats gathered at the Blue Room lounge in Washington's Adams Morgan district to talk politics and support the Blue Catapult's goal of assisting Democratic Challengers. Through their generous donations, the new PAC raised over $1000, with more coming in.

These funds have already been used to support our first three adopted Democratic Challengers: Darcy Burner in Washington State, Chris Carney in Pennsylvania and Eric Massa in New York State. In addition, we are laying the groundwork for what we hope will be an interesting concept for a national fundraiser for Democratic Challengers sometime this Spring, so please stay tuned for more details by signing up for our mailing list.
